Sure the web presence is good for business, but how will he handle requests from "Way the f4 over there" when he is providing service/product to the hamlet where he is based? The Web is a Global medium, and should be treated as such.

My Brother also asked about setting up a web site for his business, When he was just serving the Greater Toronto area, I told him that he was better off using traditional media for informing his clients. Now that he is servicing the entilre Central Canada region and parts of the Northren US I told him that now is the time to hire a web designer, and go about setting up on-line orders in information pages. (I also told him the two worst things he could do would be to a) try and administer the site himself, and b) let a friend `who know the internet' set up the web site for him.
