Doctor did a bit of further examination and concluded that it was likely to be just blood from the inflammation of my throat, as I did eat a small bag of chips last night and dry foods are, well, abrasive, to say the least. So I'll stay off dry foods for now. She gave me a requisition form for a chest x-ray, in case the blood gets worse, although she said it's highly unlikely to be something serious enough to require that as there isn't any congestion in my lungs.
