but so is your dress. I am not sure you should compare. Yes, they both use a sewing machine, but it's a different set of skills required to make clothing and quilts. It's like the difference between ballet and belly dancing (or Indian Classical dance) - it uses different muscles in the body. Even Mikail Barishnikov complained about "finding new muscles" when he was learning tap dance from Gregory Hines to do the movie White Nights.
