make 1 trip. If that means you have to rent a 25' truck then do it, you'll thank yourself at the end of the day; you won't be as tired.

As for truck handling, a 15' isn't much different from a 25', the things you need to remember
  • Check your mirrors, you don't have the option of looking out the back.
  • Remember the length, go wide if you have to on turns, and if you're worried watch your back end in your mirrors.
  • The truck will react much slower then a car, in acceleration, deceleration and turns. Keep an eye out far along the road.
  • When manouvering the track to park or pickup/drop off if you have any problems seeing from the mirrors, stop. It's advisable to get someone to help you manouver the truck and watch your corners, agree with this person before hand on the gestures that will be used. If you are confused as to what they showed you, or you can no longer see the person, stop.
As the driver you have the ultimate ability, and responsibility to stop whenever you are not comfortable with the situation.
