and more than 1 headhunter.
Only way you get anywhere in the current job market is a couple of ways.
1. You do a lot of networking.
get to know people that have job openings and need them filled.
Also other job hunters. they might not have had the right skills for a job but you do.

2. A lot of headhunters trying to find you a job.
1 is to few in this market. Last time I had to find a job and was serious about it I had 10 + headhunters looking for me.

Whenever you can go for an interview go!
My nerves were always tense at interviews.
The more interviews I did the less nervous I was.
