Some people like myself have vitamin D deficiency disorder or a parathyroid disorder. Granted we make up a small portion of the population and are considered having a rare condition. But exposure to sunlight might up my D a little but nowhere as much as a normal person who doesn't have a malabsorbtion disorder.
