Croup is usually not serious, and is very treatable, in any case. Try to remain as calm as possible - if you can, take 15 minutes and just sit/meditate... you have to be the safe refuge for your family until they all recover. I hope your bosses realize that Family Comes First. The project will get done when it gets done - and if you're freaking out about your family, whatever you do for work will very likely need to be re-done when you're back to yourself. hugs
