Random question about Bipolar disorder by fiordhraoi2006-04-12 07:57:34
Bipolar Disorder == Manic Depression. by Qcumber-some2006-04-12 08:21:06
That's due to decreased vitamin D by Celticess 2006-04-12 09:26:43
However I'm one of the ones that has Vitamin D Deficiency disorder no matter what the season(made me extreamly ill last year trying to stablize my bone D levels) and I also have Seasonal Affective Disorder. Which while different from bi polar has mania and depressive moods. I don't mind the mania because though it can worsen my insomnia I get more done and I'm less sensitive. *grin* The depressive moods I don't always realize I'm in. I just realize one day it's hard to get out of bed and I feel extreamly unmotivated.(this always occurs at some point in the winter) Then I usually go talk with a doc or put myself back on stuff I have.(the doctors leave me alone on the topic pretty much giving me stuff when I say I need it and letting me choose to start/stop it as I've had it most my life). I do get triggered depressive/panic states that are influenced by anxiety disorder and ocd(not the handwashing version) But most times I do ok otherwise.(and unless things have triggered my anxiety causing a major depressive/panic episode I do quite fine despite my SAD and D deficiency though yea I do have my moments when sensitive :P )
