Random question about Bipolar disorder by fiordhraoi2006-04-12 07:57:34
erm no.... by Celticess 2006-11-19 12:55:59
I have seasonal affective disorder it is a cousin disorder to bi polar. As far as I know seasons don't affect bi polar people and I have several bi polar friends. Both SAD and Bipolar have manic and depressive states however. Right now I'm in mania but doing quite fine thankyou... I actually get quite a bit accomplished and I'm not as sensitive while in this state. Depressive state though I'm lethargic and have motivational problems.(doesn't matter if nothing bad has happened I just find it hard to get out of bed and then realize I should take something for it) I also have vitamin D deficiency disorder. It's different than SAD though sad has some links to it. Some I know with bi polar go to severe extreams in mania(some people mistakenly think that means happy no not necisarily you can get miserable while manic) and depressive mode when they flip. They can also have rapid cycling of moods as far as I'm aware. Yes they could be incompasitated awhile. The bi polar people I know though still have contact with people even in depressive state but maybe they are outgoing to begin with.

Anyways... Here's a link on Bi Polar disorder
