My wife and I live on a 1 acre plot of land that has a slope of about 30 degrees for a large section of it. That slope (and a little bit of level land,) is covered with non-native blackberries. The slope is too steep to use machinery, we'll have to remove it by hand. We got it about 75% done two years ago, but now you can't even tell we had done anything. (They are about 6-8 feet high.) And my wife is allergic to non-native English Ivy (the stuff most people just call 'ivy'. My wife has the same reaction to touching it that most people have when touching 'poison ivy'.) Our neighborhood is full of ivy. (When we bought our house, our shared post mailbox was covered in it. I had to rip it all off.)
