to collect your taxes and remit them to the government with appropriate documentation. You're client has not employed you, Myke, rather he's employed Myke's company (no matter how you're setup). His accounting will show any payments to you in the same light as any other buisness who provides him with a service. Since he does not ask the AC guys for thier SIN numbers he doesn't need to ask you for yours. This should be all prefaced with... I think. IANATA (Tax accountant)
