No, there won't be any beer. These are college age kids. Read: "I could go to jail for serving them beer". I also have moral issues (albeit poorly defined) with recreational drinking, so I probably wouldn't serve beer anyway.

In fact, I bought the liquid refreshments this morning: Starbucks Frappuccinos, Red Bull, orange juice, apple juice, some kind of fancy green tea carbonated beverage, Frapple iced tea (regular and diet), Coca-Cola, and Diet Coke. Also lots of bottled water. Yes, tap water is every bit as good, but I think fancy bottles will encourage everybody to stay well hydrated (this will be hard work).

As for solid refreshments, I'll order pizza.

Still haven't rented a truck. I must say I'm unimpressed with the looks of the places that rent trucks around here. I'm thinking of borrowing a truck from the father-in-law unit (who sells trucks for a living) but that concept could have its own ugly family-type issues.

Oh, and hieraco, I doubt my guidelines would be of much use to you. They involve such topics as "what to do if the cat runs outside" and "do not move record albums" and "pack stuff on top of the bookcases but nothing inside the bookcases unless directed otherwise".
