Just got home from the Australian MTV awards...	by parastra	2006-04-12 07:32:12
what a complete load of garbage that was! It was so pathetic to watch everytime Ashlee Simpson (i.e. the 'host') was named the winner of something. "Best female artist of the year" my a3! A couple of decent performances though, by Bernard Fanning and James Blunt, so at least there was something worth seeing, but I'd really rather have those 3 hours of my life back! So why was I there at all, you may be asking? Apparently MTV didn't want any empty seats to be seen on TV - my wife works for a company in the entertainment industry, and all their staff were asked to turn up and to bring along family and friends to help try and fill the place up... TTGTB I think, nite all!
