Granted it was a SATCOM terminal, but we had a huge room of batteries and two Caterpillar Generators each about the size of a 40' box trailer. The batteries could be broken down and taken out one at a time or in small groups and there were doors built into the facility to remove and replace the generators. Quite a feat of engineering IMO since the generators had to be EMP and blast shielded.
