Even the index would be huge. You'd probably spend more time syncing than anything else. Since the user has a dial-up (assuming webaroo would be stupid with a permanent connection) and dial-up speeds being what they are, it seems really pointless. Even wireless-2-PDA - how much can you store on your PDA? Who want's to sync a 100mb on 3G(cost) or dial-up(time)? PS - the 100mb estimate is sucked right out of my big toe.
