The server is primarilly a Server, but i want to keep my knowledge a bit up to date on linux, and as it is my only linux box in the house, i sometimes want to abuse it as a desktop (rarely) Furthermore, i am a gui-minded person (read:lazy in learning locations, commandlines and files) so i tend to do things visual :) for real server/admin i do agree ssh is the way :)
