My extended family's got their undies in a bunch by esbita2006-04-02 19:59:14
Let me get this straight... by TechisSO 2006-04-02 21:43:42
The names of the Grooms parents weren't on the invite right?

If I'm reading that correctly then I think the correct "modern" interpretation is that if the parents are paying for the wedding, then their names should be on the invites. The the happy couple is covering the entire cost then thaty can do whatever they please. At least that's what I remember from the invitation etiguette stuff that I read when Techi870 and I got married.

Either way, it's the couple's big day and even if they wanted to print their invites in Egyptian hieroglyphics on the side of a dead trout then that's their prerogative.
