| Weddings and funerals seem to be the big trigger in these things. I know that there was a tiff when my father passed away. Mum was so stressed trying to organize everything she forgot to list my aunt (dad's sister) in the obituary as surviving family. Luckly that one blew over relitavly quickly.
Personaly I'd say take the money and elope, Use it for a down payment on a home. I really can't understand how people can go into debt for a wedding.
and one of my favourite jokes: The difference between Men and women. A woman will spend $2500 on a wedding dress that she will wear once, while a man will rent a tuxcedo whe he needs one. |
