frequently fail to see the logical holes in arguments that support their agenda. These people fail to see that simply showing a knife to a probably attacker will likely deter the attack. Usually, an attacker is after a soft target - the likelihood of being injured badly enough to require medical care isn't part of the scenario they wish to play out.
