The 4.0 was bundled with the 286 my dad bought in the late '88 or so. But I did play games on the "portable" machine he sometimes brought with him from work before that, which must have had an older version, probably 3.x. Apart from early versions (DOS 1/2, Win 1/2), the only MS OS I haven't touched at all is ME (and I'd like to keep it that way). Nowadays, I use Linux wherever I can; I still have spent more time in NT 3.51 than in XP :)
