that I have a chance at Winning, with a capital 'W.' I don't know what to say. Are they just trying to be supportive or do they really believe in it? I'm not trying to lower my standards, but to me, if I get any word back from them - even if it's only a form email confirming their reciept of my submission - it will be a 'win.' It just won't be with a capital 'W.' And even if that does not come to pass, I still will have won: I will have a demo disc to share with people when I seek to start my own/join someone else's band in the future. I will have experienced the frustration of recording the "perfect" take. I will know just how much determination it takes to be an artist. In the end, that's all that matters.
