| Personally, I only recently started using the battle-medic thing at all. Why? I never played one enough before to realize that they have a higher HP. :) Personally, I don't like it so much for the extra HP as the HP regeneration, especially on defense. I can usually win a SMG firefight with most people, and I can hold my own the really skilled players. However, I'll end up with 10 hp, so I'll either have to leave the point I'm defending to run to get healed, hope a medic wanders by, or die and leave the point I'm defending uncovered until I can respawn and run back. Personally, I don't see it as cheating - W:ET is a giant game of RPS in some ways. How do you take out a battle medic? Panzers, arty, or even a couple of rifle grenades. How do you take out a field ops? Sniper. How do you take out a sniper? Either try to arty him or circle around and shoot him with your SMG while he's sniping. The medic role is useful and has its purposes, but that doesn't mean it's invincible. |
