...and attack only when necessary. That's my gut feeling. The truth is that I am not above doing a medic-rush when needs dictate. You should learn to play all five classes though. The reason for that is that as teams shift and maps change you should be able to help your teamates. Remember that it is a team game, it's not about personal glory.
