also, in the RECORDING CONTROL select ADVANCE CONTROLS then on the mic (in record mode) open the ADVANCE button and check the box that says MIC BOOST. Took a while of trouble shooting with merlin the other night to get my silly thing to work (no the OTHER silly thing). Now it's working, I have to be at work where I can't play W:ET, but I'll leave my TS on tomorrow so you can talk to my cat. (she sleeps beside the comuputer)
