The army would expect you to obey and respect people who out-rank you. Thinking back to high school, that doesn't sound like your type of thing... imagine how you would deal with the possibility of having somebody like Mr. K---- from the tech department or who-ever you had for freshman English as your superior. Especially having seen how frustrated you sometimes got with Mrs. H---, I would suggest that you stick with the kind of job where you can just quit if your boss is driving you crazy.
