At times your voice, although quite good, was also too loud when compared with the rest of the music. If you tried recording the music and vocal at the same time, I would recommend laying down the vocal track, cleaning up some of the spots that might be too loud, and then mixing it with the music track. Getting them in synch can be a bit tricky. If I lived closer, I'd offer to help with that, but unfortunately that is not the case.
Musically, I thought it sounded good overall. The start seemed a bit rough to me, the rest was good, though. The only thing I had a problem with was the technical aspect of the recording itself. Keep going....I want to be able to say 'I knew her when...' :) |
