Grr... leadtek really pisses me off by Freakazoid 2006-03-31 14:36:41
Finally got up the nerve to try unlocking my Geforce 6800* (vanilla model, 128Meg memory) and I discovered they had TWO of the vertex units turned off. The vanilla 6800 is supposed to have 1 vertex unit turned off, not two. Only one was hardware masked, but still...
Currently i'm on like reboot 3, turned off the Pixel unit I turned on as it was causing graphics glitchyness in Half-Life 2 (the Lost Coast level works great for testing this)

never buying another thing from them again, espically not their videocards.


*note, software unlocking of the Pixel and Vertex units with RivaTuner only works with the AGP 6800, not the PCIe 6800 as the PCIe 6800 doesn't have the extra units there, just turned off like the AGP version.

    yup, only the NV40 chipset can be unlocked by Freakazoid2006-03-31 14:52:26
