Many responses in this thread are, as usual, quite anti-US. However, according to a protocol issued by the United Nations "people under 18 years old often need special care and protection that adults do not." clicky So this is hardly just US law, but is actually a convention used by many nations in governing pornography of those under 18. **note This should in no way be taken as an indication of my opinion on this subject, just stating where the law originates from.
