        I've used XMLSpy a fair bit by Didactylos2006-03-31 12:48:32

The Oxygen GUI doesn't get in the way, the "InteliSense" popups are helpful, and although I haven't used most of its features, I find them potentially useful (e.g running XPath and XQuery expressions against an XML document, testing XSLT expressions, the ability to test different versions of the specs, the ability to plug-in different validators).

I haven't found it slow either - not slower than VS, at least. And regarding the GUI, a friend of mine, who really hates Java, said that the Oxygen GUI is the first decent Java GUI he had seen.

I dislike XMLSpy, because their schema validator was faulty for the longest time (including giving false negatives). I don't know if they have fixed that recently.

Java? That would explain the slow, then. by Didactylos2006-03-31 13:48:33
