Parents have the right to yank their kids from the school's sex ed curriculum and (hopefully) instruct them on their own, if they so choose. If the parent is indifferent, then the kid'll get the school's instruction, but they are not REQUIRED to sit through whatever the school provides.

You can teach them the physical/biological aspects of sex, but "saying no" and managing pressure is a product of individual maturity and responsibility.
