He turned down several million-dollar offers to relinquish custedy of Terri. In one case he turned down ten million dollars! I don't think that money was his motivator... Also, why go through all this trouble just to marry his girlfriend when he just could get a divorce? I don't buy it. As I see it, he was the most loyal husband Terri could ever have wished for. Finally, it's my opinion that the government should stay out of matters such as these, since it's a job for the court and the persons directly involved in the case; ie. the family.
