I care about protecting children just as much. But the protection goes two ways, as I said before. I think 18 is an age set too high. And of course you have to draw the line somewhere, that's why I favour the dual system we have. If charges are honestly made by someone 12-16 = prosecute. If it was voluntary = no charges It might seem a little rough to some of you, but if you educate someone at home and at school from the age of six (carefully done of course) then they can speak up for themselves about these things.
