You have a point. On the other hand, precautions are there to lessen the risks of deseases and pregnancy. I think most important is the responsibility you have about using them.

And the way I see it, we have not that much trouble with teen pregnancies, since we educate children from an early age. In England the taboo is enormous. So are the teen-pregnancies.

Education is better then repression.
