i would either recommend a geforce 6800 since its still a recommended card on most new games and one of the main standard cards for its abilities. If you do go for PCI-e I would just go all out and upgrade enough so that you won't have to for at least another year or more. PCI-e is a big boost in all around performance since the motherboards have faster Front side busses and can handle upgrades a lot better than most AGP boards at right now.
