One, it was how I was raised. And two, my grandfather had a living will. He suffered an anerism. The doctor offered to put him on resperiator to keep him alive until my mom could come up from Virginia to New York. Actually, by the time the offer was made, we were in PA and still driving. The Will prevented the resperator (which the doctor said would be unhooked after mom made it) to be used and he died before we made. His children (my aunts and uncles) wanted the resporator, but it was denied. That kinda put me way off from wanting one.
I do understand why people want one, but I don't. |
