involved? I still see this as a issue strictly within the family. The money aspect of it occured to me, too, but as you say, doesn't seem to be the case. If it were a cost-cutting measure (as horrible it is to consider) then he should've taken the parents' offer. So, ultimately...I don't really know. Though if you want to talk money...I recall that the parents' ultimately sold their list of donors/supporters to marketing firms...so make of that what you will.
