Terry: One Year Later by sstacks 2006-11-19 12:55:59
Hi all,

Today is the one year anniversary of Terry Schiavo's death, resulting from officially enforced starvation and dehydration.

Here is Wikipedia's entry regarding Terry:
clicky

Why am I posting this? 1) Because it's easy to forget stuff like this happens, time passes and it becomes a vague blip on the radar and 2) Whether you agree with letting her die or not, the manner in which it was done was pretty horrible, both on her and her loved ones. I honestly don't think we would let a dog die like that, yet it's perfectly ok for a person who may or may not have wanted to die in her situation.

Regards,
Shane
