The joke was: if you named your golden retriever 'Linux', you might be a techie. There was some debate as to the meaning of the analogy and I got back eleven hours later. Just to clarify today, the reason why is because a golden retriever is a "yellow dog". Microsoft had nothing to do with it. If you want an analogy, here's one: you name your golden retriever 'Linux' and your pet rock 'Microsoft'.
