Install it, point it to your computer, wait until they get good and settled... then every once in a while, wiggle "their" mouse pointer. Or just hit caps lock. Or scroll lock - great if they are working with Excel documents...

Of course, this works best if they are in the same room as you; there's no way someone could tell you were doing it, unless they watched you very closesly... :-D
