          True, it is not *as* bad in more rigid languages, by whybird 2006-03-30 19:03:00
but it still sucks. The example you gave would also be hell to maintain, and the ability to innocently mix up say

FarmName := "Old Macdonald's"
FarMName := "Far Motel California"

with just a typo STILL sucks - I just shouldn't be able to declare such similar variables.

(There exist more serious examples, but you get the picture)
