Anyone interested in HL2 modding? by maximumbob 2006-03-30 17:13:00
I was looking through available mods, and didn't really see any that were nice, simple mods
(NOT like Dystopia) that focus more on different objective play on different maps, W:ET-esque.

Counter-Strike is pretty and fun, but it's defuse(x15) defuse(x15) defuse(x15) rescue(x15)
defuse(x15) rescue(x15) rescue(x15) defuse(x15) if you know what I mean.

I'm thinking a mod based with CS skins, etc. but slightly rewritten so that it's big on objective,
like capturing spawn points and destroying a small objective to get to the main objectives, all
in 20 to 30 minute rounds.

I've been experimenting with map making, have had a look at some of the code, and have
looked a little into skinning, and might actually take a stab at finding some people who are
knowledgable in some of these areas.

Anyone interested?
