Very erudite, and yes, I would even say quite polished. "Too good" is not an issue or a problem. Some people are very good with language, some are not. I expect my 8-year-old granddaughter to be able to write at least as well in 16 or so more years, considering she is writing short stories (she is in second grade) that are being judged this week against some written by fifth graders. So far she's winning the "Young Authors" contest at her school, I expect her to take the top award. Does her doing so well at writing make her not my granddaughter? -- wwill
