The Cold War is heating up again. Or, at least, the rivalry between USA and Russia. And while the US is getting weakened by maintaining much more of an army than is needed, and fighting wars that gain them nothing and should not have been started in the first place, Russia is winning the war of economics. I'm sure neither one of us want to see that. We simply differ in what to do to prevent it, and how to fight that war of economics.
