Iran Defiantly Rejects New U.N. Demands by DesertRat662006-11-19 12:55:59
I think the russian suggestion might fly by Control 2006-03-30 10:20:54
The Iranians get a tiny little nuclear research facility, under permanent surveillance by IAEA. Not enough to even produce energy from, let alone weapons. This allows the Iranians to keep face. In addition, the uranium enrichment necessary for them to produce energy is performed in Russia within the terms of an agreement worked out by all the currently involved nations.

This was reportedly an off-the-record suggestion that was made today, and was widely discussed. Russia, Germany, China and Britain apparently think it might offer a solution.
