| it's a bit pricier than another brand for the same configuration. Also, I'm unhappy with their service. The video card died and their first solution to the problem was to send me a new video card and have me swap it out. However, one of the screws holding the access plate on had a stripped out head, so I couldn't remove it. They had me ship it to them so they could do the replacement. After they had it for a week, I called to get the status of the repair and they told me that they were backordered on that video card and they didn't know when they would get more in. I asked if I could buy an upgrade and the CSR seemed surprised that I asked for an upgrade. He checked and it turned out that I had the best video card that they offered. Two more weeks passed and they finally got more cards in and returned my machine to me. All in all I was without my laptop for about a month while they fiddled about with getting it fixed. I love the machine but I wouldn't get another. |
