Should I be worried about this distro? by tallastro 2006-11-19 12:55:59
I've read some good reviews of Parsix. It's a debian sid based live-cd that will also install to the hd. I like it for a few reasons; sid, gnome, live cd, easy install (although I haven't let it install yet), & it looks good for new users. The only reason I haven't installed it is that I want to skip grub and just add it to my existing menu. This will be the 5th distro on the menu.

The thing that raised a red flag is the Persian connection. It has some packages to make it easier for arabic users.

Could the this be a terrorist weapon? Will Dept of Homeland Sec. kick in my door even if it's not? This [b]administration starting to make me paranoid. Anyway. opinions?
