I don't know if it is common on all models, but many of the consumer level wireless routers/gateways have occasional problems if you have a large number of connections traveling through the network... This may be from P2P software, and also can be from having 10+ computers active on the internet connection...

the 'issue' is that the router gets 'clogged up' (I think it has to do with excessive address caching), and is solved by restarting the hardware (power cycle, or similar action).

performance is fine otherwise I guess... though I prefer the linksys user interface for frequent adjustments to network settings...
