Nothing terribly exciting, just waaaaay better than the old machine. It's a Dell Latitude D610 with Pentium-M, Centrino etc. Main thing I notice is the almost total lack of operating noise. Previous machine was 6 years old and both fan and disk were very loud. The sound output is much better, too, which is also nice.
