and give it a few days to see how well it works. If you are really concerned about getting it right the first time go with option 2 or 3. Option 2 should be fine as long as you are careful not to try to run any of the old, bad stuff from drive C. If you aren't worried about losing data, go straight to option 3. It will leave you with the cleanest system in the long run. Don't forget to apply the Service Pack (what is it 4 now?) and patches as soon as possible.
