Welll we are in the final days/hours of the 1st fiscal quarter at wrok. Still have a couple units that MUST ship by Friday.
I'm working on the last unit tonight. The main power unit for the product was built for us by our sister company .
A main part of it would not work. Until that part did, nothing else can be done. I fought with it for ~4 hours. Finally stopped and thought, "If I was sister company person ( spelled luser, idiot, dumba3, etc. ), how would I have built ( electrically wired ) it?"
Found that they had reversed a pair of wires on each of ~12 parts.
Ergo: $sistercompanied ( think UFied, snafu, fubare, etc. ).
Just a slam against the people who wrok at our sister company, who can't seem to read drawings.
Much frustration.
